OOXML failure is bad for ODFś future
Thursday, March 27, 2008
The editor of Open Document Format (ODF) has written an official letter to ISO standard members committe to support Microsoftś OOXML because if OOXML fails it will also bring down ODF, because ODF lacks a lot of features and is technically inferior to OOXML.
But it should not bother me because anyways, Open Office 3 is going to support OOXML and anyways supports ODF.

Microsoft would have paid the editor of ODF to influence other members of ISO body to vote yes for OOXML, it is a crappy standard and no doubt about it
